That tender kisses, those amazing moments of joy and happiness cut by the blades of the arrangement. Those people are happy, meanwhile, the sharp presence of the deal makes them encouraging promise that their future partner will be even better. And the unspoken deal is that they don’t have the right to fall in love with each other. They acknowledge that all is temporary.

Now the fact is that there was not even a need for that agreement as the love wasn’t most probably going to happen. With all the freedom they had in the 21st century, they don’t need love, addiction and suffering. People are meeting and taking from each other what they need on the physical level. Then they are happy to go on and continue with their life, with their gadgets and everyday stuff they have to do.

In a few days when they will want each other, they will meet again, get the physical satisfaction and they are good to go.

Now it would be nice if they met the same person not only because it is easier to arrange, but because there is some connection and desire to see that person.

In the framework of modern love, it is not the case. Usually, the partner changes very often. Modern human has no passion and all they need is experience and a good time. At the same time, it is more interesting to try different “stuff” continuously, right? Also this way they protect themselves from being “too attached” to their partner.

At the moment one of them is tired or meets a new “object” of attention these love stories end. Sometimes with a polite goodbye in order to be a “nice” person. More frequently simply ignoring the tries of the other person to reach out and understand what is going on.
